Ramona Castillo Ortega

Mrs. Ramona Castillo Ortega, age 65, of Gatesville, passed away on Sunday, December 19, 2010. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at the New Life Church, Gatesville, TX with Rev. David Allen officiating. The family will receive visitors from 6-8:00 P.M. on Tuesday at the New Life Church. Mrs. Ortega was born on May 8, 1945 in Temple, TX to the late Guadalupe Castillo and Guadalupe Reyna Castillo. She married Alonzo M. Ortega, Jr. in Gatesville, TX on July 20, 1963. She graduated from Temple Beauty School in 1966 and retired after working as a Beautician for 37 years. Mrs. Ortega is survived by her husband Alonzo M. Ortega, Jr.; son, Alonzo M. Ortega, III and wife Rhonda; daughters, Mary Jane Pruett and husband Donnie and Cheryl Ortega and fiancé Douglas Herring; sisters, Mary Reyes and husband Ben and Sarah Guzman and husband Joel; brothers, Manuel Castillo and wife Mary Helen, Daniel Castillo and wife Cindy, Johnny Castillo and wife LuAnn, Paul Castillo and wife Paula, Lupe Castillo, and David Castillo and wife Efleda; grandchildren, Zachariah Pruett, Latana Longoria and husband Alec, Philip Hogan and wife Jaclyn, David Hogan and wife Whitney, Adreanna Hogan, Tabytha Ortega, Peyton Ortega, and Drayven Ortega; and great grandchildren Alianna Longoria, Kolyn Hogan, Rylee Hogan, and Uriah Longoria and many other family members.
