Ruthie Mae Ingram, age 80, of Flat, passed away on Wednesday January 12, 2011 in a Temple hospital. Services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 15, 2011 at Scott’s Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Murphy officiating. Burial will follow at Smith-King Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 6-8:00 P.M. on Friday at the funeral home. Ruthie was born on September 4, 1930 in Belton, TX to the late Clyde and Lula Bell Pedigo Davis. She married Harry B. Ingram on February 18, 1944. They spent 66 years together until his death on December 28, 2010. Ruthie was the owner of Ingram’s Upholstery. She loved fishing with her grandkids and taught all of them how to bait their own hooks. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a son, Emmett Jackie Ingram. Survivors include sons, Harry F. Ingram and wife Ivy Marie, David Ingram, Jerry Wayne Ingram, and Billy Bob Ingram and wife Brenda; 16 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
