Mary Hensler Nabors

Mary Hensler Nabors, 67 passed away Thursday, February 3, 2011 in Magnolia, Texas. Graveside services are scheduled for 1:00 PM Thursday, February 10, 2011 at Restland Cemetery in Gatesville. Ms. Nabors was born October 18, 1943 in Gatesville, Texas. She was the daughter of Paul T. Hensler and Frankie Mae Hess Hensler of Gatesville, Texas. Mary was a member of the Gatesville High School Student Council in 1959 and the Class Secretary in 1960. She graduated with honors in 1962. She also had the prestigious standing in Who’s Who Among American High School Students. She was loved dearly by her friends and family who admired her quick wit and humor. Mary touched the lives of all around her. After residing in Houston, Texas for 38 years she enjoyed the last 6 years living with her daughter, son-in-law and two grandchildren in Magnolia, Texas. She was preceded in death by her son, John David Nabors. Survivors include her daughter Mary Carol Nabors Spiars, son in-law Kevin Spiars, Grandchildren Joshua, Nicholas and Elijah Spiars and John David Nabors Jr., nephew Eric Hensler and great niece Raya Hensler.
