Paula Diann Allen

Paula Wright Allen, age 54, of Gatesville, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2011. Funeral Services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Friday, March 25, 2011 at the Scott’s Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at the Osage Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 6-8:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home. Paula was born on April 29, 1956 in Gatesville, TX to the late C.B. Wright and Lena Dixon Wright. Paula grew up and attended school in Gatesville, graduating from Gatesville High School in 1974. She married David Allen on August 1, 1992. Paula had a heart and a vision for the City of Gatesville. She was active in her church and assisted her husband in his ministry. Paula was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Paula is survived by her husband David Allen; daughters, Miranda Waters and husband Josh and Malissa Casas and her husband Ezequiel; step-son, Daniel Allen; sister, Daune Williams and husband Earl; brother, Larry Wright; and grandchildren, Faith and Ethan Branch, and Logan Waters.
