Bonnie was born on July 17, 1928 in Coryell County. She was raised in the Turnersville, Jonesboro area. She graduated from Gatesville High School in 1946. She attended Chicago Beauty College and was the Owner/Operator of Cinderella Beauty Shop until she retired in July 2010, working a total of over 62 years. She and her mother Lottie Hamilton worked together side by side for over 40 of those years. Bonnie married Okie Davis in November of 1956 and they made their home in Gatesville. Okie died in 1973. Bonnie loved life and lived everyday to it fullest even during her illness with a spirit and determination that remained undaunted. She loved country music and enjoyed going to hear her grandson perform and seeing her friends at the dances. She enjoyed watching cooking shows, RFD TV, watching bull riding and barrel racing. She loved to listen to Mexican music. Her weakness, however, was traveling with her friends and family as often as possible to the boats in Louisiana for a recreational gambling trip. Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband O.K. (Okie) Davis, Jr., her parents, Lottie and Bill Hamilton, and a sister Polly Schell. Bonnie is survived by 3 daughters, Nancy K. Clark and husband Gary of Gatesville, Jeanie L. Munoz and husband Cecil of Oglesby, and Molly A. Oglesby and fiancé Shane Patterson of Gholson; 4 grandchildren, Josh Evetts and wife Raygan, Anna Ross and husband Garrett, Jana and Andrew Munoz, and 2 very special great grandchildren, Ava Jean Ross and Jackson Blaine Evetts. She was Mom to only 3, Grandmother to 2, Memaw to 4, and Miss Bonnie to the rest and she will be deeply missed by all.
