John Robert Cole

John Robert Cole, age 71 of Gatesville, passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2011 at his residence in Benbrook where he lived with his son Randy and his wife Cheryl. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at Scott’s Funeral Home with Rev. Pat Cole officiating. Burial will follow at Restland Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 6-8:00 P.M. on Tuesday at the funeral home. John was born on April 5, 1940 to the late John D. Cole and Trudie Bell Marshall Cole. John married Frances Jeanette Diserens on January 21, 1961. John loved music and had a very large collection of all kinds of music. He enjoyed collecting photos and autographs from a wide array of musical artists. John spent over 30 years as a route salesman for various uniform rental companies, including what is now Aramark. John was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Jeanette Cole on December 2, 1993. John is survived by his sons, Randy Cole and wife Cheryl, John Edward Cole and wife Wendy, and David Cole and wife Regina; brothers, Tommy Cole, Pat Cole, and Bill Cole; 10 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren
