Mr. Carl Thomas Clark, age 91 of Houston, passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2011 in Houston. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at Scott’s Funeral Home Chapel, with Minister Ted Jones officiating. Burial will follow at the Pidcoke Cemetery. The family will receive visitors one hour before the services on Wednesday. Mr. Clark was born on April 15, 1920 in Paluski County, Kentucky. He was the son of the late Thomas and Mary Caylor Clark. He was a farmer in Kentucky. He entered the US Army and was stationed at Ft. Hood, where he met his wife Nollie Mae Thompson. He and his wife resided in Gatesville for twelve years, until moving to Houston. He operated a ranching business in Huntsville and continued to be a rancher after his retirement. He retired from Hormel Foods after thirty five years of service. His wife preceded him in death in May of 1994. He was also preceded in death by a son, Dannie Carl Clark in 2005; daughter-in-law, Diana Clark in 2003; sisters, Lucille Wooldridge, Caroline Abbott, Eva Smithon; Brothers, John Worth Clark and Charles Edward Clark at birth. He is survived by a grandson, Dennis Clark and his wife Penny of Pasadena and a great-granddaughter, Ashlie Clark of Pasadena; and numerous nieces and nephews.
