Mr. Willard Edward Edmond, age 67, of Tow, Texas, passed away on Friday, November 25, 2011 in a Temple hospital. Memorial services will be held at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at the Scott’s Funeral Home Chapel. Private interment will be in the Copperas Cove City Cemetery. Mr. Edmond was born on June 20, 1944 in LaFollette, Tennessee to the late Willard Lee and Geneva Housley Edmond. He served in the US Army from 1963 to 1972 and later in the Army National Guard. He was a truck driver. He was a life member of the Disabled American Veterans and the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Burnet. He is survived by his fiancée, Cathy Clowdus; daughter, Tisa Edmond-Stevens and husband Carl; son, Jon Edmond and wife April; sisters, Judy Dungan, Elaine Sellers, Wanda Royer and husband Kenneth; brother, Eugene Edmond and wife Joyce; grandchildren, Maysea and Preslea Edmond and Bryson Stevens; and many nieces and nephews.
