Arief Edmund Deane

Arief Edmund Deane, age 61, of Gatesville, passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at a Temple hospital. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, December 4, 2011, at Restland Cemetery with Rev. Gene Gurley officiating. There is no scheduled visitation. Arief was born July 25, 1950 in Lahore, Pakistan to Felix Edmund Deane and Kalawati Matilda Singh Deane. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. Arief loved his family, community and his churches. He was employed by TDCJ at the Hilltop Unit in Gatesville and was a month away from retirement. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include daughter, Amber Elizabeth Deane and son, Adam Edmund Deane.
