Maudeine Reneau

Mrs. Maudeine Reneau age 73 of Gatesville, passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at her home. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 17, 2011 at the Restland Cemetery. There will be no set time for visitation. Maudeine was born on March 25, 1938 in Lampasas County. She was the daughter of the late Roy and Opal Holcomb Bird. She grew up in Coryell County and attended schools in Flat and Oglesby. She graduated from Oglesby High School in 1956. She married O’Neal Reneau on July 11, 1958. They have resided in Gatesville all of their married lives. She worked at Gatesville Public Schools as a cafeteria worker, retiring as cafeteria manager, with over 30 years of service. She was a member of the Cedar Ridge Church of Christ. She cherished her two dogs, Sara and Jessie. She was preceded in death by her sisters Pauline Hitt, Maurine Blackman Bird and a brother, Arvil Ray Bird. She is survived by her husband, O’Neal Reneau; daughters, Lisa Gallaway and husband Tim of Mound, DeeAnna Cooper of Gatesville; son, David Clark and wife Connie of Ft. Worth; sister, Jadeine West of Flat; and a grandson, Ty Gallaway. Memorials may be given to the Cedar Ridge Church of Christ, 104 Cedar Ridge Rd., Gatesville, Texas 76528.
