Frances Warren

Mrs. Frances Warren, age 75, of Gatesville, passed away on Friday, December 30, 2011 at a local nursing center. Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at Scott’s Funeral Home chapel. Burial will follow at the Turnersville Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5-7 P.M. on Monday at the funeral home. Mrs. Warren was born on April 18, 1936 to the late Johnny Eldridge Smith and Mary Estelle Taylor Smith. Frances was the Pastor of the Leon Junction Community Church. Mrs. Warren loved her Church. She was always willing to help people when needed, and put others needs before her own. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Harold Warren, 2 brothers, two sisters, and a son John Mays. Mrs. Warren is survived by sons, Edward Mays and David Mays; daughters, Boni German, Anna Kuzenka, Judy Bowers, and Frances Herrera; a sister, Ruby Scambray; 21 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
