Francis Edward Williams

Francis Williams, age 61, of Gatesville, passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2012 at a Temple hospital. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at the Mt. Calvary Church of God in Christ. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. The wake will be held from 5-7:00 P.M. Friday at Scott’s Funeral Home. Francis was born on December 17, 1950 in Gatesville, Texas to the late George Williams and Annie Ruby Williams. He grew up and attended school in Gatesville, Texas graduating from Gatesville High School. He began work at a young age in a variety of jobs. At a young age he gave his life to Christ, where he attended Mt. Calvary Church of God in Christ. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is joined in death by his parents, Annie Ruby and George Williams; 5 brothers and 3 sisters. Francis is survived by his wife Cynthia Williams; sons, Francis Williams, Cleveland Williams and Joseph Dickerson Williams; one daughter, Treneva Butler; his sister, Mary Ann Johnson; twelve grandchildren, Armoni, Victoria, Caleah, Kiya, Joshlyn, Christinna, Wesley, Mikel, Joseph, Timothy, Joseph, and Torey; and many other relatives and friends.
