Charles Nolan Kunze age 75 of Evant, passed away on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 in Evant. Memorial services will be held at 4:00 P.M. Saturday, March 3, 2012 at the First United Methodist Church of Evant, with Rev. Don Johnson officiating. Mr. Kunze was born on November 12, 1936 in Eddy, Texas. He was the son of Hazel Isom Kunze and the late O.T. (Dick) Kunze. He grew up in Rosebud Lott and graduated from Lott High School in 1955. He married Bettye Caddell in 1982. They have resided in Evant since 1995. He was a machinist and a welder before his retirement. He currently worked, doing what he loved on the Duroc Ranch in Evant. He was preceded in death by a son, Randall Lee Kunze; step-son, Jeff Campbell and a step daughter-in-law, Elaine Campbell. He is survived by his wife Bettye; mother, Hazel Kunze of Marble Falls; daughter, Denise Johnson of Moody; son, Doug Kunze of San Antonio; sisters, Helen Delancey of Marble Falls, Anita Unberhagen of Academy; brother, Curtis Kunze of Lometa; step sons, Greg Campbell of Evant, Blaine Campbell of Belton; five grandchildren, Erica and Shea of Moody, Toby, Cody and Charly of San Antonio; one great grandson, Jackson Kunze; sixteen step grandchildren, Greg Campbell, Jr., Jessica, Brandon, Betty, Tyler, Blaine Campbell, Jr., Bryant, Brittany, Haley, Amber and thirteen step great grandchildren. Memorials may be given to the individuals favorite charity.
