Dean W. Hodge

Dean William Hodge, 69, of Hoopeston, Illinois, formerly of Gatesville, passed away on Thursday, March 15, 2012 in Illinois. A Memorial Graveside Service will be held at 12 noon on Friday, March 30, 2012 at Restland Cemetery. Dean was born on July 15, 1944 to Gerald Newman and Marjoire Marie Sandhurst Hodge in Watseka, Illinois. Dean completed High School in Hoopeston, Ill. He lived in a number of places including the San Francisco Bay area in California before moving to Gatesville in 1997. While in Gatesville he worked at Laerdal Medical for 12 years before retiring to help care for his mother. After her death he moved back to Illinois. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Dan Hodge and 2 nieces. Dean is survived by his son and his family, Brian Hodge of Hoopeston, Illinois.
