Nena Pearl Harrington

Nena Pearl Harrington, age 56, of Gatesville, passed away on Friday, April 6, 2012 at a Temple hospital. Graveside Services will be held at 2:30 P.M. Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at Restland Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5-7:00 P.M. on Monday at Scott’s Funeral Home. Nena was born on June 19, 1955 in Coryell County, Texas to the late Roy Lloyd Henson and Belva Pearl Thompson. Nena married John Harrington, almost 39 years ago, on April 30, 1973. She worked as a CMA at The Meadows for 10 years. She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, and nannie. Her passion was her holiday celebrations and she loved to cook and sew with her granddaughters. Nena was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Robert Henson; and close family friend Charles Rader. Nena is survived by her husband John Harrington; daughters, Donna Collings and husband Clint and Lee Hogan and husband Brandon; brother, Bobby Henson; seven grandchildren; and her dog, Bashful.
