Joanna Robbins

Joanna Robbins (84) died Friday, April 27, in Wichita Falls, TX. Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. on Monday, April 30, 2012 at Turnersville Cemetery conducted by Jimmy Cating from Wichita Falls. Joanna was born September 13, 1927 to Walter and Ella Mae Williams in Harlingen, TX. She married Hugh D. Robbins on July 8, 1943 in Harlington. They were married for 58 years before his death in 2001. They had three children JoEllen, Dale and Dan. They moved to Gatesville in 1959. Joanna was a member of the Cedar Ridge Church of Christ and lived in Gatesville for 43 years before moving to Wichita Falls in 2002, where she was a member of the Crestview Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Ella Mae; husband, Hugh; her children Dan, JoEllen and Dale; grandchildren Noel Robbins and Craig Morton; and siblings Walter(Bud), Dennis and Doris. Survivors are her daughter in law, Ramona of Wichita Falls; her four grandchildren, Brad Morton of Round Rock, Israel Robbins and wife Amberlee of San Diego, CA, Michelle Robbins and fiancee Jason Baker of Edmond, OK and Greg Robbins and wife Allison of Danville, IN. She also has 3 great grandchildren.
