Dorothy Mae Perkins, 77, of Gatesville passed away on Monday, May 7, 2012 in a McGregor care facility. Graveside Services will be at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, May 11, 2012 at Restland Cemetery. Dorothy Mae Perkins was born on January 27, 1935 in Uvalde, Texas to the late Milford and Geraldine Hoisington Hurt. She married Henry E. Perkins, Sr. on April 2, 1954 in Uvalde. Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents; son, Floyd Perkins; daughter, Valerie Perkins; a brother and a grandson. Dorothy is survived by her husband Henry E. Perkins, Sr; sons, Henry Perkins, Jr., Lloyd Perkins, Raymond Perkins, Darrell Perkins, and Gregory Perkins; daughter, Dorothy Oglesby; sisters, Beatrice Lairson, Adeline Coleman, Anna Whipkey, and Myrtle Hurt; brothers, Aurthur Hurt, John Hurt, Melvin Hurt, Jimmy Hurt, and Lawrence Hurt; 19 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
