Maria "Terry" Lobo

Maria Teresa “Terry” Lobo, age 58, of Gatesville, passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2012 at a local hospital. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Scott’s Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. with burial to follow at Restland Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5-7:00 P.M. on Tuesday at the funeral home followed by a Rosary at 7:00 P.M. Terry was born on January 13, 1954 in Laredo, Texas to Ernesto and Maria Delsocorro Lobo. She graduated from Martin High School in Laredo in 1972. She worked at AAA Touring Service, at Laredo Mercy Regional Hospital as a medical transcriptionist. She also worked at Texas A&M International University as an administrator. She moved to Gatesville in 2007 to care for her mother. She was preceded in death by her father and a brother, Luis Arturo Lobo. Terry is survived by her mother, Socorro Degollado of Gatesville; brothers, Luis Lobo and wife Dolores of Gatesville and Oscar Lobo and wife Carmen of Laredo; 3 half sisters from Laredo; two step nephews, Jorge and Travis; two step nieces, Reyna and Jennifer; two step grand-nephews, Kiko and Jaxxon; two step grand-nieces Avery and her beloved “Princess Angelina”. In Lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorials be made to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 1108 West Main Street, Gatesville, TX 76528
