Doris R. Baker Schumpert

Doris R. Baker Schumpert entered the gates of heaven on August 7, 2012 in Midland, Texas. Doris was born on January 18, 1929, in Gatesville, TX to Ralph and Rosa Lee Baker. She was a devoted member of Alamo Heights Baptist Church where a Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, August 9, 2012 at 2:00 PM. The address for the church is 1305 N Midland Drive. Graveside Services will be in Gatesville, Texas on Friday, August 10, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Restland Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her husband George F. Schumpert, her parents, 6 brothers and a sister. She is survived by 3 children, Georgia Ann Maddoux-Hare of Crowley, TX, Buddy Schumpert of Moriaty, New Mexico, and Robert Schumpert of Midland, TX. She is also survived by 4 grandsons, one great granddaughter, 2 sisters, Imogene Sims and Martha Dunn along with numerous nieces and nephews.
