Judy Kay Humphreys

Judy Kay Humphreys, age 51, of Gatesville, passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at a local nursing center. Graveside services are scheduled for 10:00 AM Saturday, October 20, 2007 at Live Oak Cemetery. The funeral procession will leave from Scott’s Funeral Home at 9:30 AM. The family will receive visitors from 6 to 8 PM Friday at the funeral home. Judy was born August 29, 1956 in Stamps, Arkansas. She was the daughter of Herbert Rook and Julia Beth Kuykendall Rook. Judy received her Associate’s Degree in criminal Justice from Central Texas College and worked at the Hilltop Unit of TDCJ. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include step-father; Floyd Williams, daughter; Jennifer Davies, son; Travis Humphreys, brothers; John Rook, Clayton Williams, Rickie Williams and Scott Williams.
