Ronald Poston

Ronald Emerson Poston, age 64, of Gatesville passed away, Thursday, September 27, 2012 at a Waco hospital. Memorial services will be at 5:00 PM, Monday, October 1, 2012 at First Baptist Church of Gatesville with Dr. Willie Clarke officiating. Visitation with family and friends will be immediately following the service at the First Baptist Church parlor. Ronald was born on April 16, 1948 in Gatesville to the late Walter E. (Cub) and Yvonne Bartlett Poston. He graduated from Gatesville High School in 1966. Ronald received his Bachelor of Science in Sociology from University of Mary Hardin Baylor in 1972. He owned and operated a farming and ranching operation and was a real estate investor. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Gatesville. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael E. Poston in 2000. Ronald is survived by his love of 15 years, Karen Wilkinson; daughter, Brandy Poston; four grandchildren, Koby Chrisner, Keegan Chrisner, Kirstin Poston and Vivian Poston; and one great-grandson, Landon Chrisner.
