Mary Montgomery

Mary Alice Montgomery, age 94, of Gatesville passed away, Wednesday, October 24, 2012. Graveside services will be at 1:00PM, Saturday, October 27, 2012 at Restland Cemetery. No scheduled visitation. Mary was born on July 26, 1918 in Emporia, Kansas to the late John H. and Mary Boone Walters. She attended Kansas State Teachers College in Emporia, Kansas. She was a bookkeeper for 50 years in the automotive and lumber business. She was a member of the Gatesville Country Club, V.F.W. Auxiliary, and a V.F.W. Auxiliary Hospital Volunteer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harel Montgomery; and son, Mike Montgomery.
