Dorothy Quicksall

Dorothy Quicksall, age 85, of Gatesville passed away Friday, November 16, 2012 in a McGregor nursing home. Funeral services will be 2:00PM, Monday, November 19, 2012 at Scott’s Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Crosby officiating. Burial will follow at St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Coryell City. Visitation will be 5:00 – 7:00PM, Sunday, November 18, 2012 at the funeral home. Dorothy was born on September 21, 1927 in Brenham, Texas to the late Walter and Martha Loesch Riske. She grew up and went to school in Coryell City. Dorothy was a homemaker. She resided in Gatesville since 1975 and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her son, Bobby Cox. Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Patsy Huckleberry of Gatesville, Texas; daughter-in-law, Virginia Cox; brother, Reuben Riske of McGregor; 2 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
