Jennie Boyer

Jennie Boyer, age 88, passed away Thursday, November 15, 2012. Memorial services will be 1:00PM, Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at First Presbyterian Church of Gatesville with Rev. Buddy Wheat officiating. Jennie was born on August 15, 1924 in Illinois. She grew up in West Frankfurt, Illinois. She and her husband, Clay Dean “Curly” Boyer, resided in Illinois, wintering in Texas. He passed away in 1988. Jennie moved to Gatesville in 1995. She was an active member of First Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed working in her yard and loved her dogs. Jennie is survived by her daughter, Suzanne Walker of Jonesboro, Texas; son, Greg Boyer of Palmer, Alaska; sister, Juanita Melfi; brothers, Tommy Patterson of Gatesville and Gary Patterson of Illinois; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
