Wanda Lou Patterson Neill

Wanda Lou Patterson Neill, age 82, of Crockett, formerly of Henderson, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, February 7, 2013. Funeral services will be 2:00PM, Saturday, February 9, 2013 at Scott’s Funeral Home Chapel in Gatesville. Burial will follow at Turnersville Cemetery. Visitation will be 1:00 – 2:00PM, Saturday, February 9, 2013 at the funeral home. Wanda was born on October 27, 1930 in Coryell County, Texas to the late Ted and Opal Blankenship Patterson. She grew up in Coryell County, attending school in Mosheim and made All-State in Basketball. Wanda lived in Henderson, Texas for 30 years. She was a caseworker for Jordan Home Healthcare for many years in Henderson. She moved to Crockett, Texas in 1999. She also worked as an Administrative Assistant in various capacities, including Coryell County Clerk’s Office. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Wanda was a wonderful seamstress and an avid quiltmaker. She was a member of Westview Baptist Church in Gatesville. Wanda is survived by her husband, Ross Neill; children, Linda Cunningham of Coolidge, Gary and Carolyn Smith of Henderson, Ross O. and Renee Neill of Oak Hill, Carolyn Ann and Bob Fox, Rosie Neill, and Joe and Sissy Neill; brother, Ralph Patterson of Gatesville; 13 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
