Beulah Comer, 90, of Evant passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2008 in a care center in Hurst, Texas. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at Scott’s Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Smith Cemetery in Purmela. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Monday at the funeral home. Beulah was born on August 30, 1917 in Purmela to the late Charles Dudley and Deanie May Wise Morgan. Beulah married Ed Comer on February 4, 1939 and they lived in Purmela. Once Mr. Comer retired they moved to Evant. Beulah was a homemaker in every sense of the word. She spent her life devoted to her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Beulah spent many happy hours cooking for her family, friends and neighbors. She was an excellent seamstress, making clothing for her children over the years. Beulah also enjoyed quilting with the ladies from Purmela. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Comer; daughter, Jo Anne Graham; grandson, Chris Comer; brothers, Harold “Pill” Morgan, L.O. “Rusty” Morgan, Garnett Morgan, C.A. Morgan; sisters, Christine Dryer, Opal Davis and an infant sister. She is survived by her children, Joyce Bundrant and husband Don of Irving, Patsy Garza and husband Jesse of Hurst, Paul Comer and companion Wanda Smith of Glen Rose; brothers, Bob Morgan, A.D. “Red” Morgan; 6 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
