Glenn H. Jackson

Glenn H. Jackson, 83, of Gatesville, passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2008. Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at Flint Creek Cemetery. Glenn was born on December 12, 1924 in Winnsboro, Texas to the late James and Maggie Pierce Jackson. He married Doris Blackshear in 1948. They moved to Coryell County in 1964. He was a self-employed contractor. Glenn loved to travel and tinker with anything, always having a project that needed completed. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Diana Hill; grandson Davey Hill; brother, Jerry Jackson and a sister, Lee Wilcox. He is survived by his wife of nearly 60 years, Doris Jackson; sons, Eddie Hill and wife Carolyn, James Jackson and wife Patsy, David Jackson and wife Debbie, Gary Jackson and wife Lori; sister, June Clem; 17 grandchildren, numerous great and great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Flint Creek Cemetery, 22510 Owl Creek Road, Gatesville, TX 76528.
