Mary Rader

Mary Rader, age 69, of Gatesville passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, April 29, 2013. Funeral services will be 1:00PM, Friday, May 3, 2013 at Scott’s Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Restland Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 – 7:00PM, Thursday, May 2, 2013. Mary was born on March 12, 1944 in Texas City, Texas to the late Charles Eber and Mary Morrey Thomas. She grew up in East Moline, Illinois. She graduated from United Township High School in East Moline. She moved to Navasota in 1981 and then to Gatesville 1983. She married Charles (Chuck) Rader in 1986; he preceded her in death in 2009. Mary owned and operated her own daycare in her home in Gatesville for 15 years. She had a strong faith in God. Mary is survived by her daughter, Tiffany Bovee; son, Clint Collings and wife, Donna; grandchildren, Harley Collings, Eber Collings, Michael Hall, Joshua Kuhn, Brandi Kuhn, Jarred Vermeire, Jordan and Rhiannon Bovee; six great-grandchildren; and her beloved dog, Zoe.
