Rebeckah Garcia

Rebeckah Garcia, age 60, of Flat passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2013. Memorial services will be Sunday, June 30, 2013 following the 10:30a.m. worship service at Boots & Saddle Cowboy Church, 8727 W. Hwy. 84, Gatesville, Texas with Joe Borders officiating. Rebeckah was born on June 1, 1953 in El Paso, Texas to the late Pascal and Inez Monroe McRae. She grew up in the Killeen area. She served in the US Army, being honorably discharged in 1977. Rebeckah married Sam Garcia, Jr. in 1976. They resided in Killeen, until moving to Flat in 2000. She was a member of Boots and Saddle Cowboy Church. She was preceded by her brother, Charles McRae. Rebeckah is survived by her husband, Sam Garcia; son, Chase Garcia; daughter, Laura Slayton; sisters, Linda Vines, Sheila Castro, and Kathy Britten; grandchildren, Tevan and Shaye Garcia and Tori and Cody Slayton.
