Roger Brown

Roger Brown, age 55, of Gatesville went to join his waiting family Monday, July 1, 2013. Memorial services will be 2:00p.m., Monday, July 8, 2013 at Hillside Nursing and Rehabilitation, 101 S. 34th, Gatesville. Roger was born on January 12, 1958 in Ness City, Kansas to Joe O. and Willa Lee Webster Brown. He spent part of his life in Ness City, Kansas and moved to Gatesville in 1992. He enjoyed the Boy Scouts and loved 4th of July celebrations. Roger was a priest at the Mormon Church in Gatesville. He always wanted to be a rodeo clown and he never met a stranger wherever he went. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and one brother. Roger is survived by his nephew, Galen Harper/Carter and spouse, Dennis; brother-in-law, Rick Carter; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his Hillside family.
