Susan Claudette Mohler Shinn

Susan Claudette Mohler Shinn, age 72, of Plano passed away in Gatesville Tuesday, July 30, 2013. Funeral services will be 11:00a.m., Friday, August 2, 2013 at King Baptist Church. Burial will follow at King Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 – 7:00p.m., Thursday, August 1, 2013 at Scott’s Funeral Home. She was born on October 28, 1940 in Gatesville, Texas to the late Gus and Fern Shoaf Mohler. She attended school in Gatesville, graduating from Gatesville High School in 1958. She married Donald Shinn in 1967. They resided in Plano from 1969 to 2013. She was preceded in death by her sister, Bobbie Thornton; and brother, Mike Mohler. She is survived by her husband, Donald Shinn of Plano; two sons, Jamie Ament and wife, D’Ann and Robbie Shinn and wife, Samantha, all of Gatesville; one brother, Jim Mohler of Washington; and five grandchildren, Clay, Kari, Ashley, Tyler, and Emma.
