Joe Walters

Joe Walters, age 75, of Gatesville passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2013. Graveside services will be 10:00a.m., Thursday, August 8, 2013 at Seaton Cemetery in Leon Junction. Joe was born on January 1, 1938 in Leon Junction, Texas to the late Herman and Adlean Mitchell Walters. He lived in Leon Junction all his life, moving to Gatesville in 1991. Joe married Patricia Lockaby on December 30, 1972. He was a member of Cold Springs Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; and son, Alton Floyd Walters. Joe is survived by his wife of 40 years, Patricia Walters; son, William Walters and wife, Norman; daughters, Pattie Bales and husband, Milton, Laurie Walters and husband, Jeff, and Bobbie Walters; brother, Herman Edward Walters; and seven grandchildren.
