Grace Bratton

Grace Bratton, age 99, of Gatesville passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2013. Funeral services will be 2:00p.m., Saturday, August 24, 2013 at Pidcoke Baptist Church with Rev. Don McConnaughhay and Rev. Nathan Booth officiating. Burial will follow at Pidcoke Cemetery. There is no set time for visitation. Grace was born on October 23, 1913 in Pidcoke, Texas to the late Charles and Georgia Orand Moore. She attended school in Pidcoke, Union and graduated from Brownwood High School. She married Oscar Henry Bratton in 1934. They spent all of their married life in Pidcoke. He preceded her in death in May 1995. She was a volunteer with Coryell Memorial Hospital Auxillary. Grace was a faithful member of Pidcoke Baptist Church, showing love to people and the Lord through her church. Grace is survived by her sons, Gerald Bratton of Pidcoke and Charles Bratton of Thailand; grandson, Russell Bratton of Australia; great-grandson, Ben Bratton of Australia; and nieces, Sandra Warner and Pamela Sauve.
