Bertie Lee Braziel

Bertie Lee Wilson Braziel of Gatesville passed away Thursday, May 8, 2008 at a Temple Hospital. Graveside services are scheduled for 10:00 AM Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at Restland Cemetery with Rev. Charles Grossman officiating. The family will receive visitors from 6 to 8 PM Monday at the funeral home. Bertie lee was born March 28, 1915 in Oglesby, Texas. She was the daughter of Robert Bert Wilson and Laura Oakes Wilson. Her early school years were spent at Fort Gates, Pidcoke, Gatesville and Carden. On July 16, 1933 she married Inch O. Braziel and they lived all their married life in Coryell County. She was a member of Eastwood Baptist Church where she was a member of the Ladies I Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughters, Patsy Yvonne Braziel, Linda Sue Acord; sons, Bert Davis Braziel and Gene Autry Braziel, two grandsons, one sister and two brothers. Survivors include son; John Edward Hammil and wife Fredda, sister; Irene Dossey, four grandchildren, six great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
