Jerry D. "Buster" Wolff

Jerry D. “Buster” Wolff, age 67 of Pidcoke, died Sunday, September 15, 2013 at a Temple hospital. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, September 20, 2013 at Flint Creek Cemetery with Rev. Bob Phillips officiating. The family will receive visitors from 5-7:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Buster was born on May 28, 1946 in Gatesville, Texas to Fred Wolff and Varnell Glass Wolff. He attended schools in Gatesville and lived in the Gatesville area most of his life. Buster enlisted in the U.S. Army on December 6, 1965 and was honorably discharged on September 7, 1967. Buster was a truck driver for many years. He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Wolff and a brother, Jackie Wolff. Survivors include his mother, Varnell Wolff of Gatesville; two daughters, Melanie Young of Waco and Heather Wolff of Academy; two sisters, Joan Taylor of Gatesville and Karen White of Pecos; a brother, Kermit Wolff of Gatesville; and a grandchild, Jordyn Young of Waco.
