Roy M. Holden

Roy “Buck” Holden Roy M. Holden, Jr., 66, of Gatesville, passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at a Waco Hospital. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM Friday, May 30, 2008 at Scott’s Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Restland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM on Thursday at the funeral home. Buck Holden was born on December 7, 1941 in Gatesville to the late Roy M. Holden and Wanda Grey Bates. Buck attended school in Gatesville and later married Henrietta Key on August 2, 1961. He was a hard worker and loved to fish. He was an employee of the City of Gatesville for over 14 years and recently was awarded the employee of the month. Buck was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Patsy Barnes; brothers, Charles Holden and Richard Farris. Buck is survived by his wife, Henrietta Holden; children, Roy Holden and wife Barbara, Loraine Gamble, David Holden and wife Betty, David Holden Jr. and wife Jessica; 12 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
