Edward Lee Galler, age 66, of Waco passed away in his home surrounded by his family on Friday, November 8, 2013. A family remembrance was held the evening of his passing. Edward was born on January 8, 1947. He was from Tomball, Texas, moving to Central Texas in 1994. Edward was self-employed for more than 30 years, operating Galler Auto Sales. He enjoyed rebuilding old trucks and hot rods. Edward was dearly loved and respected by his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Florence Galler; and brother, Billy Wayne Galler. Edward is survived by his wife, Carol Forrest Galler; lifelong companion, Phyllis Galler Mohr; children, Lori Stafford and husband, Marshall of Gatesville, Lisa Galler of Waco, Edward Lee Galler, Jr. of Waco, and Lona Morris of Waco; sisters, Patsy Withers of Richmond, TX, Margie Davis and husband, Don of Wharton, TX, and Sylvia Reno and husband, Bruce of Richmond, TX; eight grandchildren, including his namesake, Paul Edward Galler Stafford; and two great-grandchildren.
