Dale Robbins

Dale Robbins, age 82 of Gatesville, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2013. Memorial services will be at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at Scott’s Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Walter Davidson officiating. Interment will be at a later date at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen. Dale was born on March 30 1931 in Berwyn, Oklahoma, to the late George W. and Anna Boyett Robbins. He grew up in Oklahoma and married Juanita Marine on October 1, 1949. They resided most of their life in Gatesville. He served in the U.S. Army for 12 years and served in the Korean Conflict. He was a carpenter, owning Robbins Construction. He was a member and Past Post Commander of V.F.W. Post 8230. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Juanita Robbins; daughter, Sharon Dyer and husband Jan; sons, Jimmy Robbins and wife Debbie, Joe Robbins and wife Christy; sister, Fay Fulford; eight grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
