Elaine Kellogg

Virginia Elaine Kellogg, age 87, of Gatesville passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2013. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 30, 2013 at Scott’s Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Gatesville Masonic Cemetery. There is no set time for visitation. Elaine was born on March 13, 1926 in Childress, Texas to the late George and Georgia Bryant Brown. She graduated from Gatesville High School. She married H. E. “Mann” Kellogg on February 21, 1947 in Waco, residing in the Harmon community until moving to Waco in 1984. Elaine was a dental x-ray technician at Fort Hood for 30 years. She was a gifted seamstress and enjoyed sharing her talent with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, H. E. “Mann” Kellogg. She is survived by her daughter, Georgianne VanDyke and husband, Tommy; grandson, Jason VanDyke; and great-grandson, Austin VanDyke.
