Patsy Ruth Lovejoy

Patsy Ruth Lovejoy, age 82, of Gatesville passed away Sunday, June 15, 2008 at a local hospital. Graveside services are scheduled for 9:00 AM Tuesday at Gatesville City Cemetery with Rev. Willie Clarke officiating. Patsy was born June 10, 1926 in Gatesville, Texas. She was the daughter of Eiland and Edna Ruth Lovejoy. Patsy attended Gatesville High School and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree from North Texas Teachers College in Denton, Texas. She started teaching in Hobbs New Mexico as a junior high social studies teacher. She retired after 25 years of teaching to come back to Gatesville to take care of her parents. She was preceded in death by her parents.
