Donna Brown, age 66, of the Mother Neff community passed away Monday, January 20, 2014 at her home. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Scott’s Funeral Home Chapel in Gatesville. Donna was born on October 8, 1947 in Sweetwater, Texas to the late A. B. and Nadine Curb Gill. They moved to Euless when she was a small child and she graduated from L. B. Bell High School in Euless in 1965. She married Ray Brown on October 15, 1965. They moved to Waco in 1982, where she worked at Levi Strauss and Marathon Power Technologies in marketing and flightronics. She retired in 2000 and in 2001, they moved to Mother Neff, where she enjoyed raising registered Longhorn Cattle. She loved all animals, the beauty of nature and flowers. Donna is survived by her husband, Ray Brown of the Mother Neff community; sons, Kevin Brown of the Mother Neff community and Tim Brown of Hutto; and brother, Brad Gill of Granbury.
