Virginia Lee Sims

Virginia Lee Sims, 87 of Rogers, passed away July 2, 2008 in Springdale, Arkansas. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at Scott’s Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be 10 AM to Noon Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at The Gatesville City Cemetery. Mrs. Sims was born June 24, 1921 in Gatesville, Texas the daughter of Lushion J. and May Beck Davis. She was a homemaker and a partner in Sims Construction in Rogers, Arkansas. She was a charter member of Eastwood Baptist Church in Gatesville, TX and a member of The Church at Pinnacle Hills in Rogers. She was preceded in death by her husband Earl W. Sims; her parents; her brother and sister-in-law Eurie (Bud) and Elsie Davis; her sister Margaret Davis. She is survived by her daughter Janice Kay Vaughan; her sister Elsie Stratman; her grandson Steven E. Vaughan and wife Jill and great granddaughters Kaylen and Tabitha Vaughan all of Rogers; AR.
