Fay Fulford

Fay Fulford, age 89, of Gatesville passed away Saturday, March 22, 2014. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 27, 2014 at Scott’s Funeral Home Chapel. There will be no visitation.Fay was born on November 1, 1924 in Oklahoma, the twin daughter of the late George Washington and Anna Mae Boyett Robbins. She grew up in Oklahoma. She married Chester Fulford on August 12, 1943. They moved to Gatesville in 1962. He preceded her in death on July 24, 1979. She was a member of the V.F.W. Post 8230 Ladies Auxiliary serving as secretary and volunteered countless hours at Coryell Memorial Hospital for over 20 years. She was a member of the West Main Church of Christ.Fay is survived by her sons, Gary Fulford and Kerry Fulford; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.Memorials may be made to Coryell Memorial Hospital Foundation Auxiliary, 1507 W.
