Joyce Marcella Lewis

Joyce Marcella Lewis, of the Slater community, died Thursday, March 27, 2014. Funeral Services will be at 3:00 pm on Sunday, March 30, 2014 at Pearl Baptist Church in Pearl, Texas with burial following at Slater Cemetery. The family will receive visitors an hour prior to the service at the church. Mrs. Lewis was born in Rhome, Texas and was the daughter of Lalla Alla Judge Burk and Steve Archly Burk. Mrs. Lewis was a longtime member of Pearl Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Jack L. Lewis; son, Bobbyjack Lewis; parents; and eight brothers and sisters. Mrs. Lewis is survived by her daughter, Jaynie Lewis Fader and husband, Maynard; and many nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to Coryell County 4-H Club at P.O. Box 149, Gatesville, Texas 76528.
