Roy Alvin Logan, age 84, of Hewitt, Texas died on March 28, 2014 at his home surrounded by his loving wife and children. Graveside services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Sunday, March 30, 2014 at Flint Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Scott's Funeral Home in Gatesville.Mr. Logan was born March 15, 1930, in Pidcoke, Texas to Roy and Annie Logan.He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Edna (Beasley) Logan; two sons, Michael Logan and wife, Yealonda of Goldsmith, Texas and Jeff Logan of McGregor, Texas; two daughters, Dianne Holiday and husband, Kent of Lees Summit, MO and Lisa Lucas and husband, Jim of Greenwood Texas; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and sisters, Jo Ann Paul and Faye Jean Crossen.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 102 Alta Mira, Gatesville, TX 76528.
