Troy Theron West

Troy Theron West, 81, of Gatesville went to be with our Lord on Thursday, July 24, 2008 at a Waco Hospital. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, July 28, 2008 at Scott’s Funeral Home with burial following at Turnersville. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-4 PM at the funeral home. Mr. West was born on September 13, 1926 in Belton, Texas to the late Henry Willis and Lula Belle (Rampy) West. He was a silent, strong man who had few words. He also had a love for cars trading often. Troy loved to play dominoes with his friends at the post yard. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Clay West. Troy is survived by his children, Janice Hicks and husband Jim of Colorado, Cathy Weber and husband Rodney of Cleveland, TX, William West and wife Shannon of Oglesby, Jimmy West and wife Becky of Gatesville, Joyce Key and husband Greg of Crawford; 16 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
