Naomi Autrey

Naomi Autrey, 85, of Gatesville passed away in Clifton on Friday, June 6, 2014. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 12, 2014 at Scott’s Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Restland Cemetery. There is no set time for visitation. Naomi was born on December 4, 1928 in Levita Community of Coryell County to the late Buddy and Eva Davis Voss. She grew up and went to school at Turnersville, graduating in from Turnersville High School in 1947. Naomi married L.J. Autrey on August 20, 1948. They lived in Waco and Amarillo, moving back to Gatesville in 1991. She was a member of Grace Temple Baptist Church in Waco. Naomi was preceded in death by her parents; and her brothers, Kirby Voss and Bill Voss. She is survived by her husband, L.J. Autrey; sons, Jim Autrey and wife, Paula of Turnersville, Rick Autrey and wife, Janice of Burnet; sister, Barbara McAdams; grandchildren, Lance Autrey, Tim Autrey, and Trey Autrey; and 4 great-grandchildren.
