Sandra Vargas

Sandra Vargas, age 38, of Gonzales, Texas passed away Thursday, June 19, 2014. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 23, 2014 at Scott’s Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Restland Cemetery. The family will gather at Grace Assembly Church after the services for fellowship. Sandra was born on August 23, 1975 in Lampasas, Texas to Richard Sutton and Elizabeth Skaggs Sutton. She attended school in Gatesville. She spent her life showing her family that they were her everything. She fostered many children, more than can be counted. Although each child was adopted, grafted, or just loved, each one believed she was their mom. Sandra had many friends, each of whom were unique and special to her. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Sutton; and brother, Billy (BR549) Sutton. Sandra is survived by her husband, Roy Vargas; mother, Elizabeth Crawford; sisters, Martha Curry and Cynthia Kepp; brother, C.B. Sutton; a multitude of children, grandchildren, family, and friends. A special mention for her new found family including sisters, Melissa Stevens, Cheryl Raines New, Angie Raines Owen; and brother, Tommy Raines.
