Calvin Glenn Williams

Calvin Glenn Williams, Sr., age 56, of Gatesville passed away peacefully on Sunday June 8, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 5, 2014 at Mt. Calvary C.O.G.I.C., 128 N. 12th Street in Gatesville with the Rev. Lee O. Ford officiating. Visitation will be 4:00 – 6:00 p.m., Friday, July 4, 2014 at the funeral home. Calvin was born on March 3, 1958 to Hershey and Virginia Redic Williams. He was a graduate of Gatesville High School. He worked construction for many years in Gatesville with Norman G. and TTG of Gatesville, as well as working in real estate with Infinite Services. He enjoyed fishing and being outdoors. He loved to give help to anyone who asked for it. Calvin was a Mega Fan of the San Francisco 49ers. Calvin was preceded in death by his parents, Hershey and Virginia Williams, both of Gatesville. He is survived by his wife, Catherine Williams of Gatesville, and their children Shaqunna Austin and husband, Anthony, Calvin Williams Jr., Andy Williams and wife, Ashley, and Woosie Morrall and husband, Chris. He is also survived by Janie Swader, and their children, Nathaniel Williams and Jayden Williams; 15 grandchildren and counting; along with a host of nieces and nephews.
