Diann Christopher

Diann Christopher, age 54, of Gatesville, Texas went home to be with our Heavenly Father on July 14, 2014. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Scott’s Funeral Home in Gatesville. A family burial will be held at Rusk, Texas at a later date. Diann was born on December 15, 1959 in Rusk, Texas to the late Dean Christopher and Pat Christopher. She graduated from Rusk High School in 1977. She then attended Stephen F. Austin University to earn her Bachelor of Arts degree. She then later on earned her Masters of Education degree. After getting her masters, she became a counselor at the Gatesville High School where the kids in that school for the last 7 years meant a great deal to her. She took pride in her job and tried to help every student that came to see her. Diann is survived by her daughter, Adriana Frietag and fiancé, Cody Bray, both of Gatesville; mother, Pat Christopher of Rusk, Texas; brother, Dean Christopher of San Antonio, Texas; brother, Steve Christopher and wife, Laura of Rusk, Texas; along with family and friends. Memorials may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation in honor of her name.
